Tribute to Pap

On June 4 2009 our family lost a great man. He was known as - Dad, Daddy, Pap, PapPap, Uncle Ray to all who knew and loved him. He was a hard worker and loved the Lord with all his heart, mind & soul. He adored his kids, grand kids & great grand kids. Where ever they were he was right there with them.
The above picture shows him sitting on the bench looking out over the river with Paige & Hannah - I can hear him telling them stories about the river "When I was a little boy"!!!

Here he is watching Tammy riding the jet ski with one of the girls on it. He loved watching the kids on the river having fun.

Here he is with Tammy at Niagara Falls just coming off the maid of the mist ride. This is the last vacation he took with the kids before they went off to college.

Another picture showing what good memories Tammy had with her grandparents at Niagara Falls.

Chris with his grandparents on their trip to Niagara Falls. Him and Tammy both have such great memories of their Pap.
We will never hear Pap's stories of all the trips he took to - Chewton - (I'm not sure if that was a real place or not) I guess I will have to wait until I am able to see him again and ask. I always remember driving with him to the mountains and seeing the sign "Falling Rock" You guessed it he had a story about the little Indian boy "Falling Rock". Whenever we had to go to New Castle for any reason - he would always ask when you got back - "What's new in New Castle". He always liked to play a game when we would go past Moraine State Park. "How many sailboats are on the lake" he would ask. Chris would always say "A lot Pap". So of course Chris would win no matter how many boats there were. My kids still like to play that game to this day. We were driving to Sharon, PA 4 weeks ago and when we were getting close to the park Chris and Tammy were playing the game.
Pap - you will be missed. Until we see you again - God Bless.
